What it is and how it is specified

PPGI is galvanized or Galvalume coil with a factory-applied paint system, used for roofing, wall cladding, sandwich panels and appliance panels.

At specification grade, polyester, silicone modified polyester and PVDF are all built to roughly 25 microns on the top side — the paint name alone is not what decides how long the sheet lasts. Note the difference between prime and stock lot. Prime is first-quality mill material to a named RAL colour; stock lot is mixed-colour surplus, priced accordingly and not suitable where colour has to match across a roof.

Duty and origin

Colour coated coil from China has been subject to anti-dumping duty since 2018, and a further National Tariff Commission investigation into colour coated imports was initiated in 2026. Duty exposure on this product can therefore change between order and arrival — confirm the position at the time you commit.
