What it is and how it is specified

Aisha Steel Mills is one of only two cold rolling mills operating in Pakistan. Its CRC feeds appliance manufacturing, furniture, drums, ducting and general pressing work, and is also the substrate for its own galvanising line.

Specify by thickness, width, temper and surface finish rather than by thickness alone. If the part is drawn rather than bent, the drawing grade matters more than the gauge — and the temper is on the mill certificate, not the coil tag.

Duty and origin

Domestically rolled coil carries no anti-dumping duty. Chinese CRC does, at rates extended in 2026 to cover widths above 1,250 mm — the width local mills cannot roll, which had been the standard route around the measure.
