HeShe coil steel, or Galvalume, is widely used for industrial roofing, wall cladding, and steel fabrication. Specifications feature aluminum zinc alloy coatings alongside thicknesses ranging from 0.12 to 3.0 millimeters

Galvalume is steel coated with an aluminium-zinc alloy. It outperforms plain galvanized on flat, well-drained roofing in inland conditions and is widely used for industrial roofing and cladding.
One caveat matters in Karachi. Galvalume warranties are generally void within about 1,500 feet of salt water, and the coating should not be placed in direct contact with concrete, mortar or dissimilar metals. For genuinely coastal work a zinc-aluminium-magnesium coil is usually the better specification — see ZAM coil.
Duty and origin
Galvalume of Chinese origin attracts a flat 40.47% anti-dumping duty in Pakistan, imposed by the National Tariff Commission as an anti-circumvention measure and running to 8 February 2027. The scope, PCT codes and clearance detail are in our Galvalume anti-dumping duty guide.
